This book is orginally part of a 145 book-set reading program that is designed to teach your child to read in a simple and intuitive manner, without the use of extra workbooks that complicate learning.

The goal is to gradually progress from the simplest way of learning (stage 1) to independent book reading (stage 4). Stage 1-Read the book to the child. The child remains silent and follows along. Stage 2- Read a word/phrase/sentence to the child and have them repeat after you. Stage 3- Place your finger under the book text and ask you child to read it, offering them help with words they don't know. Stage 4-Child reads independently, holding the book in their hand and confidently reading aloud.
