June 2 - July 28 

Storytime Classes

Ages 0-2 Storytime Class:

Short story, music and movement - In the Story Room.

Tuesdays or Thursdays through July 20 at 10 am (except July 4 & 6)

Focus: Ages 0-2 and their adult(s); older children welcome; first 25 children each class

Register: online through the Library Calendar


Ages 3-5 Storytime Class:

Stories, music, movement and a simple craft - In the Story Room. 

Mondays or Wednesdays through July 19 at 10:15 am (except June 19, July 3 & 5)

(simultaneous with Ages 6-11 Class); sign-in at 10 am

Focus:  Ages 3-5; younger siblings welcome if accompanied by an adult; older children welcome; first 30 children each class

All children must be able to sit quietly; if any child in your party isn’t ready for quiet sitting, please come to the 0-2 class. It has a lot more movement!


Ages 6-11 Storytime Class:

Stories, library skills, games and a craft - In the Story Room.

Mondays or Wednesdays through July 19 at 10 am (except June 19, July 3 & 5)

(simultaneous with Ages 3-5 Class); sign-in at 10 am, pick up in the Story Room at 11 am

Focus:  Ages 6-11; older children welcome; first 25 children each class.

Caregivers are welcome to visit once and get a feel for the class. After that, please enjoy the library until 11 am. If your child is not comfortable coming alone, please attend the Ages 3-5 Class with your child.


Summer Reading Challenges for Ages 6-17

Reading logs (with more details) will be available beginning in mid May.  Look for them in the library or on the Classes, Clubs and Services page on our website, www.cityofcrestview.org/library.php.

Reader Awards will be Friday, July 28 @ 6:30 pm, Warriors Hall, 201 Stillwell Blvd, Crestview.

June 2 - July 28

Join the Destin Library as we read all together now!  Enjoy weekly special events and activities, a personal online reading tracker, and reading challenges for ages 0-199 with Beanstack,  achievement rewards, and Grand Prize drawings! Participants ages 0-18 will also receive a Build-A-Bear Reading Pal as part of their registration bundle. Preregistration starts May 19.
